Dwight D. Eisenhower moves out

AS first revealed in Heritage Railway last August, ‘exiled’ LNER A4 Pacific No. 60008 Dwight D. Eisenhower and sister No. 60010 Dominion of Canada have begun their journeys home to Britain.

On Saturday July 28, the delicate operation of moving No. 60008 out of the US National Railroad Museum at Green Bay, Wisconsin, began, tender first.
