Visitors to Stephenson Steam Railway will be given then opportunity to take control of a classic British Rail Class 03 diesel locomotive as part of an exciting new driving experience.
2025 will see the National Railway Museum celebrate its 50th birthday, as well as the 200th anniversary of the modern railway, with a host of exciting exhibitions and events.
