Locomotion railway museum in Shildon has announced its programme for the railway’s bicentenary year, including new exhibitions and a Flying Scotsman residency.
Locomotion in Shildon, County Durham is to undertake the museum’s biggest ever rail shunt to create Europe’s largest undercover display of historic rail vehicles.
The public are being invited to have their say on plans for a new £5.9m collection building at Locomotion in Shildon at a free exhibition being displayed this month.
