The North Yorkshire Moors Railway has resumed full services following a period of reduced services to avoid risk of lineside fires caused by dry weather.
A locomotive which for 18 years has proudly carried ‘our’ name – The Railway Magazine – has been rededicated with additional nameplates to mark the magazine’s 125th anniversary thanks to operator Freightliner.
With another spell of extremely hot weather forecast, the Severn Valley Railway will run only diesel-hauled passenger services from Wednesday to Sunday this week.
Postal strikes planned with the Royal Mail on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1. With this in mind would you please allow extra days for delivery of your favourite magazine.
