Saturday 9th February 2019 saw the first mainline run of LMS Stanier Class 6P Jubilee 4-6-0 No 45596 ‘Bahamas’ for 35 years.
She is seen here making a spectacular departure from Appleby with 1Z61, the 15.30 Carlisle-Keighley &WVR.
The railtour was a sellout and despite the weather and Storm Erik doing its worst, many people turned out to see the engine.
