Computer says ‘no’ to Tornado at York

In an unusual move, Peppercorn A1 No. 60163 4-6-2 Tornado was set to work the York to King’s Cross leg of UK Railtours’ modern traction ‘The Diversionary Tactic’ on Saturday, June 11, which would have avoided a light engine move for the A1.

However, it was prevented from doing so at the last minute by a computer glitch.
