Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways chief Paul Lewin recently said: “We are proud to be investing in Caernarfon. The new station is bringing £2m work to the local area in the next 12 months.”

Significant grant aid has been secured for the project, but donations are still needed as part of the Diamond Jubilee Appeal to ensure the work is a success.

If you can help and want to be part of the future of the railway, visit: www.festrail.co.uk/appeal/donate.html or write to: The Ffestiniog Railway Trust, Harbour Station, Porthmadog, Gwynedd LL49 9NF
