A4 paperwork hold up
By: Robin Jones
The A4s which were due to depart Liverpool Docks today for their trip across Great Britain to Shildon have been delayed due to a paperwork hold up. As a result, neither will be leaving today.
The current state of play is that one of the A4s will be departing Liverpool tomorrow lunch time (Thursday, October 4) followed by the second one later this week.
It is currently believed that one of the A4s will be on display this weekend at Locomotion National Railway Museum in Shildon. The pair should be on display at the museum by the middle of next week.
